i think i remember these credits, as i was born in 89, mom got me watching this show at an early age. however, the closing that sticks with me to this day, is the closing from the 1992/1995 season.

It's amazing how the sight of Barkley and the sound of the funky chimes can magically transport me back to kindergarden. Too bad the funky chimes weren't used after 1992. PBS children's programming was unbeatable in those days.

this was a great time in my life....i remember this most when the rare time i stayed home sick from school and my mom...would put on sesame street....I MISS MY MOM SO MUCH...I never had the chance to tell her i love her so much...befoe she died....I MISS MY MOM AND LOVE HER SO MUCH...this brings back so many good memories...of when she was alive
