Khalil Fong 方大同 "practice update"

K has been busy working out the details for his upcoming shows, and has recently finished a track for an artist whose album should be released in the summer. He is hoping to practice as much as he can in between the producing, arranging and upcoming performances. In preparation for upcoming shows and new album here's another practice clip.

Khalil's main strengths are in post-production, vocal harmonies, and arrangement. He's one of the first chinese producers to get it right... and the first one to preach soul instead of using it for 2-3 songs for marketing purposes.

In a related note, people need to check out Eric Lau's album New Territories, that joint is intense. Probably the best soul/hiphop/rnb album to come from a HK artist, even if he is based in UK.

he is no john mayer or guitar sessionist. but hes gd enough for the chinese pop music scene
