I completely replaced EL wire with LED's. I'm waiting for the circuit boards in the mail, but I designed this one before the others, so I thought I would show you guys my progress.
@fullmetalanbu No, I haven't received my color bar boards yet (coming tomorrow or Friday), but it'll be all controlled by 6 AA's. If I were to continue using my EL wire like in my previous vid, I would've had a box with the Arduino in it, an inverter, and a 9v all clipped to my pants which made it extremely heavy and bulky on me and just too much work. I'll most likely have a new video up within this week with all of the lights going.
@TheCodeProductionZ Helmet was purchased, code was by me. I wanted to make my own helmet around Halloween, but there were some dates that were coming up fast so I decided to just buy one. :/
Cool, so your going to have a separate battery back for each piece? wont that be bulky and pricey?
