FWIW OK You can put 29 turbos and a wing on a 1982 Civic for $1.92 yada yada yada. Survey 1000 Lotus owners and 1000 Civic owners. Count how many Civic owners would like to have a Lotus and how many Lotus owners are planning to "trade up" to a 1982 Civic. After that... please be quiet.

Im glad Honda makes civics that look like family sedans now, no more rice :). Eventually all these older civics are going to be driven to extinction since Hondas were never meant to be driven like this. All the people I know from the drag strip who raced civics 5 years ago either eventually broke a transaxle, clutch, or threw a valve/timing belt and don't race civics anymore :)

ive got less than 9k in my ek hatch and ive walked on three different lotus'. Granted they look cool but for the cash you gotta shell out to get one. I know i wud be disappointed wit the performance. And as far as takin a civic through a corner a set of coilovers and a camber kit fixes that.

@Giova2774 No gano el Civic PENDEJO. See what happens when a Civic meets a real car, it looses. I bet the gay guy in the Civic was like, "I put a turbo, intake, chip, put some SWEET rims, an exhuast the size of my asshole after a good reaming... I GOT THIS IN THE BAG!!!!" Race ends. "What!? Show the Civic a corner and the Elise will fly past!! and to quinnmyster, I drive an Elise S2 everyday for the past 4 years and it hasn't cost me $1000 a month, have you had one....... no, I didn't think so!!
