It's a tourist scam. It's not possible to demonstrate the difference in vortex direction outside of laboratory conditions and certainly not by moving a couple of paces.
The vortex demonstrated here is simply the direction that the water pas poured into the sink in the first place.

This is a good truth vs. myth question. I am afraid xlmeay is correct. The differences are not attributable to the coriolis effect, but rather, to the design of the drain. :(

Is the Coriolis effect, south hemisphere clockwise and north hemisphere counterclockwise... If you live in US(north hemisphere) the water in your toilet will turn counterclockwise direction when you flush it and if you live in Argentina or in another country in the south hemisphere the water in your toilet will turn clockwise direction. Coriolis effect affects weather and other natural events :) whats so cool about its that in the equator line it doesn't spin at all!!!

I hope you realize this is was scam. As it is, the Coriolis Effect on drains is negligible, even hundreds of kilometers from the equator. It all has to do with the way she poured in the water. She poured it in a certain direction. You can see this as it is sloshing around in the tub in a certain direction.
This demonstration works off of Conservation of Angular Momentum, which is completely independent of the location on Earth.

@emishriky on the northern hemisphere its spins left on the right it spins right and on the dead center of out globe it goes straight down.
