The hamster is trying to drag some cardboard through a tube, which doesn't work. He is also trying to compact hay to block an entrance. He is pushing the hay down with his head. At times, he can also be seen dancing on the hay to compact it. Quite funny. Please visit me at http://mesocricetus.com , the hamster site, and say hello there. It has only just been created, so there isn't much there yet, but I am working hard to add new stuff!

  • Is he a syrian? If he is, could you please tell me where you got those tubes:D My syrian hammy has a boring square cage and the places (like petsmart, petgo) near me doesn't carry tubes big enough for syrians...and i'd rather have my hammy be bored than get stuck in tubes :(

  • @333pinkelephant333 She is a Syrian. I bought my cage at PJsPet in Toronto (Canada), but PetSmart have them too. You just have to ask for the Habitrail OVO cage. This cage *and* its tubes are made specifically for Syrian hamsters. Just make sure you don't get the Habitrail OVO Dwarf Hamster Habitat since that -obviously- is made for dwarf hamsters.

  • now u make me want to have a hamster! T.T

  • @lolpopblue Depending on your situation, it may be a great move. Sometimes, I think I should have a more sociable animal, but the truth is that such an animal is not compatible with my way of life. My hamsters are well taken care of, they love their life, especially when I leaved them alone and only watch from a distance, and in exchange, they do allow me to pick them up every now and then.

They are low maintenance, don't need much attention, and are great fun. What more do we need?

  • When I start watching hamster videos, it usually lasts 2-3 hours...

  • @xXSparky117Xx Maybe you should buy a hamster yourself. They are very affordable, low maintenance, and fun to watch!

  • She doesn't eat through the cage? My brother has a hamster and within two weeks, he ate a hole big enough to let himself out.

  • @MsSoularts I like that!

  • @BartBVanBockstaele Mhm alot :D

  • @MsSoularts Great! Do you like it?

  • i have a cage like that :)

  • @SuperFrostywolf Fried in garlic-butter sauce, they must be quite delicious. My hamster prefers them raw though, and I'm not entirely convinced that's an example I want to follow!
