David Bruce & Stephanie feeding a homeless man (Search for more on this site)

We met this very polite man, along with 4 others that night we fed or put up for the night, and he told us he needed $20 for a motel for the night.I was very happy we met him because I just paid $50 for another guy named Tony we've been helping stay in a place that same night and the weekend before. So now I would be sending these men to this $20 place!

This gentleman was great to talk to and not only did Stephanie feed him and I put him up for the night and pray for him, but we let him pray FOR US because we're not any more special than he was, but all the same. His prayer blessed us so! I hope we see him again, as we've been ministering to a lot of the same people each and every week I play a gig in Chicago...

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Interestingly enough, l don't believe in "leading people to Christ" anymore or having them say a certain type of prayer to have Jesus save them. I believe in the Gospel according to Paul and present Jesus to people in a very different way.

Read Romans 5:18 and 19 for just a taste of what l mean. :-)

This is powerful! This man is homeless and he says he even knows there are people worse off than him. As he said he may be poor, but he is RICH SPIRITUALLY! ..Very powerful to see him pray for you guys, GBU!!

Yep. I encourage people to let the homeless pray for you because religious people have this dumb idea that they're better than the homeless. If you get your act together, you can be good Xtians like us. Bull...

@davidbrucemusicvideo BTW - this is Gaela from FB. I think this is an incredible ministry. My daughter has a HUGE heart for homeless people. Sadly, most ministries (i.e. Loaves and Fishes) in our area that cater to the homeless will not allow her to participate because of her age (she's only 6). We do a few things on our own, but it's not the exposure I'd like her to have... yet, anyway. I am going to share some of your videos with her. You are a good man of God, David. Keep serving Him.

Thanks for the kind words, but this is not a ministry. This is just what I do. Its what I call "normative Christianity". Take a look at all the healing videos here. That's normative too. :-)
