I really respect emt's , paramedics,firefighters, cops and people who put their lives on the line everyday.

When I needed help, paramedics hepled me. I am forever thankful for what they did and what all of you continue to do each and everyday. Thank You for what you do!

Because of emt's, paramedics,etc, I want to work in ems =)

@switchfoot423 I have been on a rescue squad for almost 2 yrs. i just recently got my emt-basic. and this is actually one of the best tributes ive seen. it sums everything up perfect. because with the ems, firefighters and police, we do what we have to do regardless if we get recognized for it. thats one hard part of ems, you dont always get a thank you. but you know in your heart, that what you done was right. and it's truly an amazing feeling. :)

@champlinparkhs That was my reason for joining...i only just started last week. Im going to start EMT classes in a few days and i cant wait.  I've always respected our Hometown Heroes more than anyone can imagine. I'm proud today to say that I will soon be able to call myself an EMT and later a Paramedic. Maybe a Firefighter sometime int he future if I can.

what got me mad is that for a moment there i really thought that maybe this isnt for me. but this video makes my heart swell and makes me open my eyes, and makes me say, just because i didnt pass once doenst mean i have to give up, if im here is because this is wat i LOVE this is MY passion. no one can know if this is for me or not except for MYSELF.. and believe me THIS IS WAT I WANT and no matter how many walls or stones get in my path im doing it.. im not giving up!! Im going to save lifes!

im an EMS student already a basic.. i just failed my final exam for my intermediate level by 3 points.. 3 points that there is no way in hell im going to be able to get.. point is that i cried and cried because i failed.. then someone told me "you know, maybe this isnt for you" that made me feel lower than anything in this world.

Why do they make it so hard to become a firefighter? I want to save lives... I'll do it for free if they would just let me :(
