  • I also like it more then Hahn's version...

  • Dude, this is my favorite korngold that I've heard. By far. Nothing else has really come close to this. Shaham maybe my next favorite but I'd listen to this rendition any day

  • Saw him perform this live in Albuquerque NM Nov. 6, 2010. Will be a Phillipe Quint fan forever. Glad I didn't miss it--can't hear it enough. Best without a doubt.

  • My favorite Korngold... Bought the recording of this same concert on Itunes

  • simplemwnte increible!! viva quint!

  • Great CD! it's been nominated for tonights Grammy Awards

  • Did you all see? Quint + Prieto made a Korngold violin concerto recording for Naxos. Release is june 30 2009!

  • well, no doubt, Mr. Quint brights here like star, he is the soloist and his playing is just a gift for our ears, my congratulations are also for the excellent "Orquesta de Mineria" and Mr. Carlos Prieto very very well done !.

  • Its a shame that there are few videos of him in You Tube.

For me, of all the violinists that are still alive, he is the best of all.

Extraordinary sound, perfect technique, he is really awesome.

  • I do not really get tired of seeing your videos and listen to your cds less. Delightful way of playing, great technique ... hope to see you again soon ...

  • wow, this is awesome! Please, post the 3rd movement!

  • Saw him perform this in Olean, NY last Friday. Exceptional quality of the performance AND violin. Is it me or is this rendition not more persuasive than Heifetz' version also on YouTube? (Is that blasphemy?!) Shouldn't judge based on poor audio quality, I know. But still, I wonder. Last Friday's version had more lilt ending some of the phrases in this movement. Lovely interpretation.
