Budgie with 5 babies

I haven't posted a video in a while so here is my first video of '09!!! lol those parakeet eggs finally hatched. Now the babies are 2 to 3 weeks from being full grown they grow extremely fast. anyway the first baby hatched on new years eve then the rest hatched in 2 day intervals. so enjoy subscribe and LEAVE COMMENTS!! :-)

nope all 5 of them made it, 2 eggs were infertile though :-/, but she did well for being a mother her first time

Could you do a baby budgie update? What mutations are the babies? I forgot a lot about budgie genetics. Are like some cobalt and some sky?

3 were a dark blue blue like the ocean color and 2 were a seafoam green the babies are gone I sold them to a pet store but I have videos of them when they are fully feathered

THEY gave birth in WINTER??? when r the breeding seasons b/c i want to breed mine...also how old do they have to be?? thanks

there breeding season is in the spring or summer time and they are sexually matur when they are 4 months I think but I recommend breeding when the hen (female) is at least a year old because laying eggs at a young age like that could hurt alot and can cause egg binding which is when the egg gets stuck in the cloaca and break on the inside can cause parakeet death and calcium deficientcy can also occur meaning she wont have an average calcium level which could also cause death to the bird

i had 1 of those birds but yellow and she was laying eggs everyday about 5 each but she always ate them and at the 4th day at night she died :(
