Recorded at the Great British R&B Festival in Colne, Lancashire on the 29th August 2009.
Chantel McGregor - guitar and vocals
Alex Jeffrey - bass
Martin Rushworth - drums

Chantel and the guys played a fantastic set for their first time at this festival and they went down a storm! The crowd loved it.

This is a great cover of the Stevie Ray Vaughan classic, Lenny.

  • Chantel really tore it up on this one!!! I'm a big SRV fan, and she nailed it!!! Shine On Chantel...

  • Amazing young guitarist and a lovely personality. Heard her for the first time tonight at The Limelight in Aylesbury. I didn't get to see her or speak with her until after the show as I had other duties, but I could hear this outstanding performance throughout the building. Her improvisation on this classic must have been twice as long as this one. She never seemed to repeat herself and made her own stamp on the number. A truly great talent and worth trying to catch on her current tour.

  • That's one Fantastic Lady behind that Tele! Absolutely Great!

  • @steviemack9 Hey Stevie you are close Leo did not have a hand in it as such but Trev Wilkinson who made the guitar used to work for Leo.I have the same guitar and the quality is sublime,I dont suppose I would have ever found out about it if I were a headstock fanatic. She also plays an amazing Music man ernie ball.

  • What a great talent Chantelle is,met her in Aberdeen before one of her gigs and we talked guitars.Trev Wilkinson aged Chantelles Super S and boy she can make it talk ,scream, wail and sing.I sent my Super S to Trev he set mine up as well I also got the Vantique treatment done to the scratch plate. The best guitar I have ever owned and its Korean!I certainly hope Chantelle comes back to Aberdeen ,the turn out was low, great for me to listen but bad for her Koffers.Great Post By the Way

  • Love the Fender Tele over your other guitars, but believe you could make a $50 made in the 3rd world , no name guitar sound good, keep jamm'en .........

Oh wait is that a G&L? Thought it sounded like Leo Fender had a hand in it anyway, it sounds great.

    And so do you!

  • Hey Chantel...I just realised thats not a Tele but a Fret King super S or super T :)..

I shouild have realised by the shape of the pickguard :)
