The best garage band ever!!! Sounded more like the Stones than they did!! Blew other bands off the stage; I do not understand why this band was not up there with all the greats.

  • my friend Alex reckon they're even better than the stones

  • Sweet Young Thing - The Chocolate Watchband [San Jose, California] - 1966 - "AMG pick. One of their BEST. ORIGINAL LINEUP as of July 13, 1966. Mick Jagger-esque vocals." - Melts In Your Brain...Not On Your Wrist! (disc 1)-2005. NOTE: Jagger-esque. This San Jose band formed in the Summer of 1965 at Foothills College in Los Altos and were discovered late the following year by Ed Cobb.

  • @rrstrychnine actually Strawberry alarm clock did get there name from the beatles. every band wanted to be like the beatles. too bad sgt peppers lonely hearts club band was meant to make fun of the american bands at the time. but british rock can suck my hairy nuts cause garage rock is the shit. bubble puppy and the beacon street union are the best.

  • they should have gone further. i know they had a gig at the golden sheaf. but they should have played fillmore etc.

  • Great song! This video? Embarriskin'...
