Ghost - My new cat

My cat Otis passed away and my husband and I got a new cat from a shelter. The cats were left on the side of the road and taped up in fruit boxes. The people at the shelter took them in, and I found this little guy on petfinder.com ... He's very friendly and his name is Ghost.

I just noticed you mentioned that in your comments that 80% of white cats are def. Now I feel stupid for stating something you already stated. LOL

@awspuppets oh, no, don't feel stupid! I just found that out from my vet when I got Ghost. It's not exactly common knowledge. :) It's usually if they have blue eyes. Sometimes if they have one green eye and one blue eye, they'll be deaf in the ear with the blue eye, but not the green eye. It's so weird! :O

@albonshasta What is weird is our cat doesn't have blue eyes though. They are a yellow.

We have a white cat who also can't hear. Apparently it's a genetics thing in white cats.

you're lucky, then. Ghost is completely deaf. It works to my advantage when I need to sneak by him, though. :P
