Here is a rendition of this classic Iron Maiden tune from "Seventh Son of a Seventh Son" played on my Rick. Included in this video is a lot of personal info.
The sound is still muddy, but I'm still working on the sound. I'll dial-in to a good sound eventually.
Of course, more videos to come. Primus, Maiden, Rush, Peppers, Rage...something along those lines.

How long did it take you to perfect playing with your fingers? i play everyday, for at least an hour at a time if I'm busy, and how long did it take you to play by ear?
I've only played for maybe 1 and a half, to 2 years, so I'm still learning. I can play Fear of the Dark and stuff like that, but with the use of videos and tabs of course lol.

I unfortunately do not use tabs to play...it's all by ear with a heaping helping of my own stuff thrown in.
