Resident Evil Code: Veronica X: A Rank Playthrough Part 7

Claire's Antartica part isn't that bad at all, except for Nosferatu. Which can be an absolute nightmare.

Chris' part is one of the tougher parts, and I didn't start off
so well with the Worm, but the job got done in the end.

Also, excuse the slight buzzing sound, it's only really
noticable when it's otherwise silent and I think I'll test to see what's up with it later on.

I'm at this part with only a small amount of bowgun and handgun ammo. Could anyone give me some tips?

@CheesyRhino You should be able to get through this section with relatively minimal ammo usage, the only really hard part is Nosferatu. Just make sure you put the weapons in the box so Chris can have them later or he's screwed.

against the worm u could use 5 fire shots from the dart gun to kill it.

@MrThejoker1989 Really? I never really bothered trying it against him because I was saving those for Alexia II, though I think the Grenade Launcher is better for her. I may try this on my next run, thanks.

@KermitBeach Nice! 3:31 is a pretty decent time considering the cut off point is 4:30. I normally do that with the Assault Rifle as well to be honest, I think I do it in my Full Cutscene run actually. The second half of the game is pretty awkward altogether I think, in Claire's section your main worries should be Bandersnatches, Zombies are easy to get through in this game, Banders and Hunters are annoying to avoid though. Still, hope these videos helped you. =D

@TheMixedHerb i beat the game! woo hoo.! my time was 3:31 so i still got the rocket launcher. during Nosferatu fight, I beat him by also acquiring the assault rifle. I still used the rifle, but trying to aim for his heart, and then use like 10% of the assault rifle and I got him. lol. Man, the only time i beat him with the rifle was when I retried like 3 times. oh well, good times. =)

btw, chris game was a pain in my arse!

@KermitBeach Let's see. Well, I'd say to stay as far away as possible which is a given, just wait for him to come into view before you fire, a good tactic is to find a spot, fire then move. If you take too long just move anyway, move around the helipad in a clockwise direction since he starts at the top right. It's not the end of the world if Claire is poisoned afterwards but it will add a good few minutes to your final time later.

@TheMixedHerb you were right, its L1 and L2, but man, I'm having a hard time beating this dude. =( got any tips, i tried to mimic the video, but, no success yet =((

@KermitBeach I'm pretty sure it's L1/L2 for backwards and forwards respectively, I could be wrong since it's been a while since I've played. Tell me how it goes. =D
