u know that's debated
after all some ppl believe israel "imposed" peace on egypt that was now finally convinced they will never win over the izzies; completely ignoring the fact that sadat actually needed to wage war to be in equal position in the negotiations for peace
others -me included- know that egypt had achieved every single goal it waged the war for, and the izzies gave away the sinai they won in 67
the third opition is that both sides won Egypt got it's land, Israel got peace

And you're probably right with Saddat and the equal position.
But I'm note sure at all that people think Israël impose peace.
Everybody knows what Kippour war was in israel, on the moral.
I don't know if you know israeli people, but I can assure you : the 1st thing they want is to do tourism.
