He was 94 at death, so the hair would've bn grey, and the reason why his hair was redish - blond is because it was dyed with henna. Henna is red when strong, and yellowish spread out. Coinsidently, dying with henna is still practiced in the horn of Africa (Ethiopia Somolia etc) where blacks often have straight - wavey hair and aquiline features. >Ramses ll was painted the actual color brown in art.
