The wind and rain are not the problem. It's all the loose flying wood and metal cargo containers that hit your house like a battering ram.

@derbigpr500 In New Orleans, the houses that survived the worst hurricane to date were reinforced with steel. It's funny too considering that steel is actually cheaper than timber and much much stronger.
-
@BubuSnow93 Not really. Make the foundations earthquake proof suited to an earthquake zone and you have one indestructible house.

God damn this show is lame.. fucking so lame... I post these comments to help people understand that this show is utter crap. That there is much better out there. Mythbusters is way better and also original and years old.

I really find it funny that americans build wooden houses...its really not a smart thing to do ...especially when you live in a country where hurricanes and tornado's are not rare.
My country has stable weather, but my house (and everyone else here) has double walls, reinforced by steel inside...60-70 cm thick walls....i'd like to see a hurricane destory that. A house like that can be hit by a grenade of a rocked launched and not be hurt (tested in the war 15 years ago :P) .

This episode was another utter horrid fail-fest.
An overly complex air cannon what has the kick of a launched mentos-diet coke missile. And those incompetent idiots can't even properly tether that ridicules trailer
The waste of resources, time and braincells is terrible. Why do they even do reruns? burn the tapes BURN THEM.
