And because Windows 8 Pro, RT and Windows Phone 8 shares the same code base of C#, C++, Javascript and HTML5, web apps can be easily ported to W8 and WP8, and apps can also be ported cross-platforms.

= catering to a large device selection operating on W8, and also easier porting with less cost and less time.

not quite true they have developed their add marked so there is close to 100K now, at least thats the numbers I've seen
