this is a hot patch , a term we use in the game , my dad showed me this over 25 yrs ago , he was shown also , so this idea has been around longer than me

it is a strong patch , and will last foreva if followed instructions

this will fix a hole upt to 400mm in size anything larger i tend to place a backing timber to screw too

  • Good one, Mate. Thanks for the tips.

  • Awesome, thanks!

  • why didnt you just cut the patch in a circle the size of the hole?

  • i work at Lowes in Opelousas La. USA in lumber and I think this is first class work. Charles

  • Thanks mate, a big help. You are obviously a tradesman, and a damn good one.

  • this is exactly what we needed - thank you - NSW!!!!

  • nice job on the hot patch... looked perfect.... but if that door knob hits again it will crack wont it? i would probably cut it stud to stud personally... then again the door stopper would prevent that.
