On top of that, he outscored his opponents in Beijing, but still lost because this whole best two out of three rounds thing is garbage and only works well for freestyle, not greco-roman.

im glad that lester won it sent deitchler to wrestle in the ncaas cant wait to see deithcler dominate (well unless you know hes not goin to be used to folkstyle because he trained in greco so much, but who knows hes talented)

Yeah media is the most important thing you are right. Who cares when they got there stories. At the trials everyone did go "WHOA!" when dEItchler(notice the sp) was throwing people for 3 and coming back to win every match after losing the first period in every match. And coming back to win against Sahin after being down by 5. He won the trials he was the olympian! If you watched jake wrestle in Beijing if you did he wrestled well and had great matches with the best in the world.

And it's way more exciting to watch Lester wrestle anyway. When someone passes by a channel or website with Lester on the front, people might say, Whoa!.
IDK about other Greco wrestlers even with the excitement of the rule change.

YEa. We really needed him in Bejing. Then the story could have come after the Olympics (Lester) instead of before (Dietch).
I think a post medal media coverage is a lot better than "oooo look how young this kid is!" Lots of sports have young athletes.
Nothing new for the US populus. They like Yellla medals a lot better...

better on that day you mean. because on the day of the trials jake was better. no argument. they both moved up a weight going to take jake longer to adjust because he is still so young comparitively speaking. nothing really matters for 3 years anyways.
