Inside NSU: Special Report (Cloverfield Video Contest)

My video entry for the Cloverfield video contest, "When Cloverfield Hit."

We didn't win but we finished in the top 20, which out of 124 videos isn't bad!

It was a lot of fun to make this video, and I want to thank everyone who helped out and participated!

What editing software did you use, and how did you get the "boxes" in the top left/right corners. I have sony vegas movie maker 8 and was wondering how to do that "news box"

I used Adobe Premiere, but the news boxes were made in Photoshop. I just dropped the PSD files over the video itself. Pretty simple to do, especially if you have Adobe which can have both programs work together. There are more complex ways to do it, but I was in a hurry to get this done so I went simple and fast.

I loved making this video with you guys, I just hate how that competition was run! At least we all had fun even if we didn't win! :)

This one at least had personality. The winning video was so damn boring. Maybe if the voting system wasn't so damn flawed, this may have had a chance.
