What a farce in the final! Guivi was up 3-0 and Brands won on three bogus fleeing the mat calls, the last two being with :24 left and :12 left respectively. Just like with Dabir at the 200 Olympics, Brands refused to put the opponent down on a passivity call as he knew he could not turn a much more skilled opponent than himself. Amazing how one can win a World Championship final being down 3-0 without scoring a technical point on his own.
