@beccalynnwan it is an elitist regime severely suppressing & violently prevents all human rights, just as all powers in the world, including every state government in the west & east. if you don't know this then you don't read enough. there have been times in which people had true democracies eg: Athens, & N. Spain for several days after revolution, & the Bolsheviks (again only for a couple days) after the revolution but prior to Lenin dismantling the workers controlled organizations/factories

What is the student so sloppy even in throwing ? Not qualified to throw shoes ? Better train more before doing that ! Train the manners which the Brits boast of so much ! Train politeness which the Englanders cherished much ! Hahaha ! How cool Wen JiaBao was ! What good manners and magnanimity !

And who invaded Tibet before the Chinese did and slaughtered millions of Tibetans, who made the Chinese sign unfair treaties involving Tibet? That's right, the British and then this whole mess started.
"yet another ignorant brainwashed chinese"
This is what you get from a Western bigot if you defend your own country.

This is too funny, but the shoe missed him buy a long shot. At least the shoe aimed at Bush would have hit him squarely in the face if he didnt duck!
Size 10 FTW!

HHDL stated today that:
"The dedication [during Losar] should also go to those currently undergoing suffering so that they may immediately be able to enjoy the happiness of freedom. Through such an accumulation of collective merits we should all strive for an early solution to the just cause of Tibet."
If you understand Buddhism, you understand that one cannot accumulate merit by being violent; in fact, violence destroys merit.
Therefore it is untrue to say HHDL calls for violence.

More proof Tibet starts in Amdo, just past Siling (Ch. Xining), from a traveler:
"It is possible to do the train trip with a few breaks: eg Xi'an, Lanzhou, Siling. From Siling to Lhasa the train takes about 24 hours and it i snot possible to get off spontaneously.:
In other words, Siling is the last stop before Tibet -- otherwise you could get off.
AND you need a Tibet Travel Permit to travel past Siling.
