I would say no larger then 640. You want your image to look nice but u do not want it to be to big to load. The smaller the image is also less space u use for image hosting. If u compress the image to low then it will lose its quality.

Heather, I would just love a bit more info on resizing the image, compression, etc to insure they are the size allowed for ebay listings. My photos are large- over 1MB & approx. 2592 x 1944. What resize image settings do you suggest I use when uploading? Depending on either "WEB" or "Java" uploader is see 640 x 480 or 800 x 800. I may be over thinking, or I am a knucklehead, but I am sooo confused ....HELP ME PLEASE ANYONE THANX IN ADVANCE! abfaster on infrog (ex-auctiva user)
