It's not an appropriate question, whether you like her and her politics or not. She gave absolutely no indication that she was willing to discuss it, and the conversation was not heading in that direction at all. You wouldn't get an interview with David Cameron and ask him how big his dick is.

the reason they asked her such a tacky question is because it was a tacky magazine. the reason she agreed to do an interview with a tacky magazine is because the big newspapers couldn't care less what she has to say. she is a prejudice woman and hides behind her religion to justify her prejudice, exactly the kind of person who shouldn't be respected in modern britain. that is why she now exists in the political wilderness, retired or not.
