It was time to begin traveling through Gujarat from East to West, South to North. The always interesting road sights included salt pans, crossing over the Arabian sea and watching thousands of camels on the road pulling carts. Sturdy camels are still the "workhorses" of Gujarat, India used in the fields and to transport goods. Actually, these are "Dromedaries" not Camels as I was informed by Niru, new guide. Even though the term is used interchangeably, Dromedaries only have one hump.
Th princely state of Gondol would be today's destination with lots to see in Gondol.
