@jimmyleg5 i didnt say they were an easy kill but they r a relatively easy kill.a hippo weighs much less than a giraffe but yet a giraffe can be killed by a lion group but its almost not possible to kill an adult hippo. lions in this hunt made a mistake by not crawling up on the back and going fr neck or by not going front on & jumping on the base of the giraffe neck which is not so high. i am trying to say is that even a mighty giraffe can be killed by a leopord if it just gets hold of its neck

@sabertooth7777 they may look like they would be easy to kill, but they are pretty tough. They have really tough skin, and kicks powerful enough to kill a lion.
And that was a hell of a leap for that lion, the base of their necks are 8 feet high.

@jimmyleg5 well its not the hardest given the neck size of a giraffe...u can see when hunting a adult warthog it can be very tricky to kill it coz its neck is short and strong....but i feel and i have even seen hunts where a singke lioness jumps high for a giraffes neck n kills it....despite its size i feel a giraffe is quite vunerable

its surprising they cudnt pull off the kill...a giraffe might be large but its also an easy kill given its long vunerable neck....i was surprised one of the lions didnt crawl up its back and go for the neck

Wow i didn't realise how powerful giraffes were... they are so gangly and silly to look at but those lions would weigh a few hundred kg each and he is just walking along with them on his legs!
