I get what you're trying to say, but I think perhaps you are confusing things. Faith and War are hard to square. But when you have your first close call, its a bit easier, and for some its all that keeps them fighting. Should ease off some on the proselytizing, and realize that sometimes silence is a good thing.

@navybabejz I was aware and I knew what I was getting into. I have a ton of friends currently in the service btw. My suggestion would be for you to watch my video "A Soldier Died Today" to see how strongly I support the military. It had nothing to do w/his job just that we weren't really compatible as people. We dated in high school once and it ended in a terrible painful way. We weren't meant to be & God was telling me. I was just selfish

By the way, my boyfriend wasn't a Christian nor believed in God. But while he was away, God revealed so many things to him. He's coming to God. I'm sorry for your breakup. May God keep encouraging you and strengthen you. I know how hard it is dating a military man and putting God into the picture. I know exactly how you feel. I'm dating a Navy sailor. Your story is like my story. I told my sailor from the very beginning, "Let God be our foundation." Yes, we've gone through any trails and tribulations while together, but we are constantly falling onto God. I think if I didn't say "God be our foundation", we would've ended it months ago. We are growing stronger in love and in Christ. Build your love on Him and Him alone. We both know we can not serve 2 masters. Allow God to be the molder.

You know why there are a lot of negative comments on this video?

Because they haven't experienced it. I can totally relate to this, except it was a best friend, not a boyfriend. Through my stupidity, I lost her as a friend. For a long time, God wanted me to let it go, but all I wanted was to be her friend again. It was all I focused on, so I wasn't really living. I also stopped praying, because I felt guilty. I should of trusted God earlier, but I guess I have learned from it.
