One year after the March 11, 2011 disaster, Ian travels back to the radiation zone to the city of Minamisoma in Fukushima Prefecture to find out what conditions in the town are like now.
In Part 3, Ian meets with two local businessmen; one who has made the decision to evacuate his children and the other who has made the difficult decision to keep his children with him. Finally, Ian goes back to the checkpoint at the exclusion area and then to the elementary school where the children are attending classes in the radiation zone.

Thank-you for the videos. I am sad to report that most people here in Vancouver, Canada have long forgotten about the radiation effects of March 11/11. It is like it never happened. Most have even forgotten the name Fukushima. The few that do remember think "the problem was resolved right away, right?" They have no idea our dire the situation still is (reactor 4 etc). My radiation readings here have been 27.0-30.0 CPM with some spikes over 100CPM in rainwater. Best regards to the people of Japan

Thank you for watching. Unfortunately, I think it is human nature to soon forget about these things. I believe we need to fully understand what has happened before we are truly ready to move forward. Thank you for your thoughts and encouragement.

I'm glad there are still people following the development in Japan and thus working against the forgetting of all others who are not living in these areas.

Wow! Excellent. After following this daily for a year myself I wondered how people in Fukushima were doing and this answered it.
