Unlike most Gundam series, the gundam pilots don't sit in a cockpit. Instead they wear a suit that makes the gundam mimic their movements. This is how the put them on. I'm not sure were their normal normal clothes go before this.

i can picture myself in G Gundam, tons of "spammable" weapons, 22 meter Mobile Fighter(instead of the usual 15 meter(may be wrong as i haven't checked in awhile) towering over all others, insane weaponry(pretty much every beam spam weapon from other series(Fin Funnels, Dragoons, etc)) a Buster Sword(metal not beams) a beam masamune(an extra long beam saber like Sephiroth's Masamune.
