Yeah i life really there :) not more then 500 meters from the Festspielhaus of Wagner :D

At the ending of the opera a round mirror appears other the scene representing the earth and the lights in the audience room get slowly on whith the music ending and all person can see it self in the mirror . This create a very unique ambiance as Wagner talk to each person in the teather.I will never forget this ambiance and performance. Thanks to Stephen Herrheim the scenery director for this very new Parsifal.

also we can see the Richard Wagner house "Wahnfried" in first act whith Wagner photos video project and in second act the house destructed by English bomb attack during second war. In third act the house is reconstruct and the Gral knights are the german deputy sitting in the Reichstag Berlin. Very bizarre but its a real voyage in the different times and epoque. But a must see when appears on video perhaps in 3 years i hope.

I was this year 2008 16.08 and saw Parsifal at Bayreuther Festspiele under Daniele Gatti all was exceptionel especially the voices Gurnemanz Kwanlug Chung and Parsifal and Kundry was the same very high niveau.The first act representing in the middle age in germany.Very shoking was the scenic when hitlerian cross appears at second act representing the bad as Klingsor and then the hitlerian cross falling at ending second act.The third act representing our times now in germany with the Reichstag
