"Crawdad Slip" is the name of a slip glaze made from a local clay near the Luck family pottery in Seagrove, North Carolina. Sid Luck, his father, and his two sons continue a long tradition of hand made pottery.
This film is available on dvd from the filmmaker Jim Sharkey at http://www.folkfilms.com/
I saw Sid on Friday, and he's still cranking them out.
