Every now and again I type my family name into google and see what comes up. This is an absolute revelation, I'm honoured to share my name with a man of such quality.

I grew up in Chattaroy, as did my mother and grand parents. I actually have in my album collection "Mother Jones' Will" Those coal car's on 0:36 reminds me of the ones outside Williamson. Thanks for posting this, God bless.

This is a beautiful song. It makes me think of my grandma, her church and growing up in Pike County, KY. It makes me long for heaven too.
Thanks for sharing this.

I met Nimrod a few of times at his home in Chatarroy in the 70's when I was 14 or 15-he was my neighbors cousin-I am interested in any recordings of him-Jerry Adams
Is this the same Nimrod Workman that is related to Harve Workman from Longbranch Ky

Nimrod had a son named Harvey- which died about 5 or so years ago. I am sure he is related to those in Kentucky though. His family was from Martin County originally
