Unite union members at Mahle Engineering Services are defending jobs in Kilmarnock, Scotland, after the company revealed plans to offshore work to Italy and Slovenia.

Nope, we looked over it and thought, 'it's members getting in front of a camera for the first time and having the guts to stand-up for themselves and their livelihoods.'

Not easy for folk to do that. Even more difficult when people like you want to have a go. If you want slick pre-scripted corporate stuff then there are plenty of other forums that'll appease you.

@newh53 union reps dont get paid for representing the workforce and My colleagues stepped off the factory floor to be interviewed, so I would be less critical of someone trying to save not only own jobs but of the full workforce..any other comments now??????

Instead of trying to ridicule people who are union reps ..and do so voluntarily ......get behide them they are not corporate monkeys spouting the company line...they are trying to save jobs for the people they represent.....................­....shame on you , what do suggest ??
