http://www.parleysdieselperformance.com/ The Guys at Parley's Diesel Performance teamed up with Graydon Blair of Utah Biodiesel Supply to put a lot of common biodiesel and diesel performance questions to rest and show how to brew biodiesel and answer the question of what happens when you brew biodeisel that makes it able to run in any diesel engine. For more info on biodiesel visit http://www.utahbiodieselsupply.com/ . Thanks again Graydon!

  • @MoparAmericanMuscle current diesel engines in use can run with a 20% bio and 80% diesel ratio unmodified. At higher ratios, you'll need to modify the engines. Most diesel engines can run on 100 percent biodiesel if the temps are over 40F biodiesel only needs to be heated if the temps are lower than the gel point of the fuel.

  • how would the diesel engine run with an higher ratio of bio-diesel than 20% bio and 80% diesel, say like a 50% bio-diesel and 50% normal diesel? how would the different ratios work. Could you run just on bio-diesel?

  • wow!!!!! thank you for this!!!!...

  • You make a volcano in a diorama not a diaphragm. LOL. Great video though!

  • @jarp87 Many household products contain lye, the chemical sodium hydroxide. Lye is a caustic, alkaline chemical, which means it dissolves sticky substances like fat, and has a high degree of reactivity with other materials. Lye, in a flake, granular, or liquid form, is very dangerous and can cause damage to surfaces and people. Wisegeek :)

  • "equal SOAP, thats baaaaaaaddd" haha. v nice, u said lye? i cant get it what is it? i got lost in this one. will go to see titration.

  • Very inspiring, just might motivate me to post on subjects I like. Have made BD before, only about 5gal, used it to start party fires. Watched 380 demo, please exp H2SO4 calcs or is this used in place of titration? 66balm, industrial SO3 smoke stack waste? Why do u not sell the gly, I hear it goes for 70cent a pound on the open market. Is it practical to us zeolyte for moisture extraction after washing? Is specific gravity a strong indicator of quality product? TY4 lesson.

  • This is all very informative. Good work, you're a very engaging teacher.
