My guess is that Jack is referring to Bergonzi violins. Which he pronounces as "Brugonza". From THE DICK CAVETT SHOW. February 21, 1973.

Jack's Stradivarius was made in 1729. It was renamed the "Benny". Jack bequeathed it to the Los Angeles Philharmonic, where to the best of my knowledge, it's currently being used by Martin Chalifour.

HaHa! I used to listen to Jack every Sunday
night. More than half a century ago.
I read he bought his Sradivarius in the 50s
for $16,000. Probably worth a couple
million today.
