@johnc1280 ummm tell me why a WWE champion from pro wrestling became UFC heavyweight world champion in 4 fights with nothing but a wrestling background...and please tell me why Brock Lesnar would never be able to do the same in Boxing? you know why ....cos it would be to hard for him and hed be knocked the fuck out...in MMA he can take a guy down and stall a fight, and win with grappling, boxing is just brutal striking u have to be the best of the best to stay on top.

Its fat easier to become a MMA top ranked fighter then a boxer, the science of boxing has developed over hundreds of years to to a level of Manny Pac or Floyd, to be succesful in MMA u can just be a good wrestler and have some ground and pound..look at Brock he became world champion in 3 fights LOL
Imagine Brock taking on Vitali Klitchko in 3 fights ....hed be destroyed...boxings a much harder sport to the elite at in my opinion.

He's not a good businessmen, the ufc spends a lot of money promoting, hosting events. Also, he's not the only guy in the ufc, everyone has got to get payed. The infrequency of fights means that the money made has to be spread around and shared throughout the organisation. OH NO I ONLY MADE 200 000$ poor me!!!

mma is a different sport and cannot be compared with boxing. its like apple and orange..and saying mma is cock fighting and untechnical is ubsurd. juijitsu, muaythai, karate, and so forth all incorporate science in their skills.
