Sounder Train #1702 makes a station stop at Edmonds, WA amid mixed weather. Leading this train is Sounder Cabcar #305, and trailing is a Sounder F59PHI. When I turn the camera around the capture the trailing unit, notice the AWESOME rainbow. I didn't even notice it because I was looking the other direction, towards the trains approach from the West, so I did not see it until I turned the camera around. A once in a lifetime shot! Sorry that there was some rain spots on the camera, but the rain was happening while the train came and I didn't want to wipe the camera and miss part of the train. All in all, a beautiful shot on what turned out to be a great day for railfanning.

I agree with that. Don't get to see a rainbow on the railroad every day. Trevor aka longlivethewtc told me on the phone about that after he got that shot. I agree with Trevor it is worth railfanning even though it tis raining.

Awesome video and great catch with that rainbow! There was a rainbow the other night when I was railfanning BNSF, but of course, nothing was moving at the time.

That was such a hardcore capture right there man,I mean It's not everyday you get the chance to catch a rainbow and train all in the same shot. Not to mention that kickass K5LA as a bonus. Plus it seems like it has been ions since I have even seen a rainbow myself. Great video longlivethewtc,Great video;-)!!!!!AWESOME.

Thanks Bryan. I didn't even notice the rainbow until I turned my camera around, because I was facing the wrong way. I was so excited.
