so let me get this straight . . . . you pay a lot of money for this, put it on a track and then just watch it going round in circles all the time?
I dont get it?
Where is the fun in that? . . . . . . give me a PC rail simulator any day, at least you can drive a train in the cab proper, with real routes and timings

what sound decoder is in that? Did your HST come with sound. I bought my HST, it came DCC fitted but no sound. I am looking for that sound project, does the decoder some with that sound. ANy info will help.
Thanks.

You're missing a TGS :) nice sound though, the new Hornby HSTs are superb aren't they?

@trainmania100 I had a similar problem with my R069 power car. It was a pickup problem; the axles on the motor bogie were covered in old oil preventing a good earth return collection. I removed and cleaned them using Isopropyl alcohol, which can also be used for traction tyres.

I have the old one, it stops at random parts of the track and fishplates are ok. do you know how to fix this? and also do you know how to remove the oil from traction tyres on these locos?

Good video, can you chip any dcc ready loco with a dcc sound chip?

Inter-City 125. King of the HSTs.
Great video. One question tho, is that a chip a Valenta or an MTU? Doesn't sound like a Valenta scream if you get me?
