Every day, 365 days a year, Specialized employees take to the streets of Morgan Hill for some fresh air, a little excersize and a break from the office. But it isn't just about the hammerfest road ride. Check out everything else that happens one Lunch Ride.

  • I love the fact everyone is on roadies apart from one guy on a front suspension mtb!

  • Anybody knows the name of the song playing in the background?

    Many thanks in advance...

  • I want to work their

  • @Pezdetz666 I used to be like you guys. Being stuck behind a cyclist made me mad. But now, in very rare instances when a motorized vehicle is completely neccessary, i overflow with joy when i get stuck behind a cyclist. It makes me happy to ride my bike, and to see other people riding theirs. Also, you gotta take into consideration that were helping out everyone in the world by not using gas (you're welcome). I hope someday you will experience the joy of riding a bicycle.

  • Wow i want that job and if not come out for those old mens worlds that looks like super fun and some good midweek training.

  • what a nice job..

  • You are wrong on this. Bikes are not considered pedestrian. They are considered non-motorized vehicles and as such are bound by the same rules of the road as cars. So, it is entirely correct for a bike to be in traffic lanes, and to utilize turning lanes at intersections.

  • @Pezdetz666 Your point about "inconveniencing" motorists presumes an inequality between different kinds of vehicles. According to all 50 states' legislation, bicycles are vehicles. Cyclists, therefore, are equal to motorists in their right to use the roadways; including the left hand turn lanes. And belong on the roadways, not on sidewalks.

I wonder, do you go on other roadway users' websites and whine about the various ways they "inconvenience" you during your oh so important drive?

  • @echprelude

This is too true. Cyclists are not cars, you're fucking pedestrians, so stop acting like metropolitan transit buses. What I hate the most is when cyclists pull into the left-most lane to turn left at a large intersection. Is it really so hard to just follow the crosswalks instead of inconveniencing a whole line of motorists trying to get by?

  • i ride allmost every day for lumch in the summer, best thing ever
