So I got my first request, TearAsahina requested for a classical arrange of Patchouli's theme, and we all know how much we love that theme.

So while I was browsing the many arranges of this theme I had I bumped into about 5 TAM arranges of this, well, of course, I could have uploaded a TAM arrange, and said, "There you go, it's an awesome song, end of story", because most of TAMs arranges are awesome, and leave you speechless, but well, you've probably heard those and I really liked this one, so I decided to upload this instead.

Ah... Locked Girl, sincerely, when I see the words "Touhou Classical" the first theme that comes to mind is this theme, seriously, this track was practically made for classical arranges, I mean, seriously, who doesn't like to listen to the main part on a violin, it sounds gorgeous; which does not mean that other arranges of this theme are not awesome.

I'll admit Patchouli herself isn't one of the characters that really intrigue me, I have a neutral standing regarding her, but well, she is the ultimate otaku touhou character, technically, and her pajamas are cute. ^_^

OK, on to the song, I think it's gorgeous, left me speechless the first time I heard it. A very well done arrange, conserving and strengthening the melancholic feeling the original has, like ZUN says:

"It's a dark song, without any light or bright moments,
despite its quite fast-paced nature.
It could stand to be a little less heavy, as listening
to this piece could drag someone down :)" - Translated by Touhou Wikia

A dark and sad track? Yes, it really does give out a sad feeling, like a lot of other ZUN tracks. Drag me down? No way, of course the song is dark , etc... but I don't actually feel "dragged down" by it.

i haven't heard the TAM arrange. could you upload that sometime too? also, if you find any arranges of Marisa's night theme in touhou 7.5, please, upload that right away! one of the greatest themes in all of touhou, and definitely the greatest marisa theme. and, my comment has derailed entirely.

Well, I'll be practically uploading when I have some time to kill, so expect an update or two daily, of course the time difference can be seen as a good thing, since my updates will be on a different time then Chaos', thus providing music throughout the day.

Patchouli's theme is my 2nd favourite Touhou theme ever, and this arrange is absolutely beautiful. Do you dig these up from doujinstyle? I've tried looking for a few of the more recent songs from Chaos' channel and had no luck finding them. People like to bury these things..

Also, since I didn't comment on the previous vid, good luck on carrying this playlist into it's bright looking future. Two great songs already and I'm sure the rest will be just as good or better!

Actually "Hobby Atelier Carrot Wine" isn't an easy circle to dig out from, a lot of the times they pass to a more synthesized sound that I personally dislike a bit.

About where I get these, I normally get these from the lossless collection after reading about the circle.

it's... something about this. The song is simple nuff, sad and beautiful, not shocking from this series...

but then... there's something else... something dark and deep, as if it wasnt meant to be there. As if the musica came to life, a creation with ill-will, something darker than the sorrow and joy of lonelyness, deeper than the sharp stabbing pain of realizing you are with only yourself, the world out about it's business while you stay stuck..
