and you're certainly entitled to your opinion.
i myself love those very collisions, and don't think the transitions could have been handled more masterfully. they're one of the things that define early Throwing Muses and make that first album, with its exquisitely chaotic feel, one of my favorites.

Videos that flash up the lyrics are quite irritating generally -- the point of a song is that we, erm . . . listen to it.
