  • In the end of the review you said to wait for the trade to come out. I'll admit I downloaded all three books online because I don't want to waste my money. But do you think they will release this in trade paperback? It's only three issues though each issue was slightly longer than what DC allows. DC doesn't seem to release 96 page(my estimate) books anymore. If they do release it in trade I'd buy this.

  • Well the trade is 160 pages. So ether there's lots of art and interviews and introductions in it (which I'm really hoping for) OR they will throw another story in the trade. But it's out in october.

  • Oh snap, I never even bothered to check Amazon or wherever you found the information from. Yea I'm sure there will be a ton of sketches and interviews/introductions. I thought they would throw in other stories featuring this villain but a friend just told me his stories are already collected in the Green Arrow trade(which I don't read unless Batman's in there)

  • Yeah I got it off amazon.

Yeah the villian only exists in one other story by Kevin Smith which is his second trade from Green Arrow. I highly recomend the first two trades from Kevin Smith on Green Arrow. Batman is in the first one and Onimonepia is in the second one. You may like them.

What did you think of this series?

  • I thought it was good. Just finished reading it...can't wait to hear your review if you make one. But at the same time I thought Joker hogged up a bit too many panels. Sitll it's good to have the audience wanting more. I'll buy it when it comes out in softcover. DC has been way too "hardcover happy" this year. Just about every R.I.P. story is in hardcover and I hated every R.I.P. story except for Heart of Hush....which isn't even an actual R.I.P. storyline :)

  • where can i read this part online?

    plz tell me!!!

    i already read the first

  • Oh THAT. I was thinking Long Halloween.

Your right. But the diffrence is that Kev's version is still psyctic. He's just more playful. Like the animated version. But he's still got some killing joke in 'im.

  • Your memory is incorrect. You specifically spoke about how Loeb's portrayal of the Joker in "Emperor Joker" was too silly and at odds with his portrayal as a psychotic ever since "The Killing Joke."

  • I didn't say anything about Jeph's take on the Joker. He's done diffrent by everyone. I rather liked the idea in this book that the Joker is played out.

I just liked the art alot myself. But I said in the first one it may be because I realy like Walt and really want to like the art. Or it may not. I'm not sure. I just really like the art.

  • Ha. Ya I slipped up. But Holden is named after Holden. For some reason Claufield just comes to my head when I say Holden (as a first name as a last name I'm the first thing I think of since it's my last name)
