  • Nice booth I once worked in booth like this for Warner Village Cinemas UK very easy to move around and clean as well.

I've noticed the Dolby fader on most of the CP500 and CP650 is at 4.5 that is roughly -10db below Dolby reference level 85db.

I also noticed boxes for JBL so I gather all screens have the best JBL.

The projectors Victoria V nice haven't worked on one for 22 years nice to see there still being used.

7:33 nice auto changeover on the turret lens Dolby Digital SR-D

  • my bad scope to flat

  • what was the masking changing from flat to scope

  • Vic V was the first projector I was trained on at UCI Tower Park site many years ago, oh, like 20 years.

Nice projector a bit noisy but nice. The booth was nothing like this one but the last cinema I worked at Warner Village 12 screen Bristol was just like this one all on one level!

CP650 not a big fan of that model or CP500 that was used at Warner Im CP200 fan thou Ive never used one only CP65 with SR/A

  • We (projectionists :) ) say, switch flat to scope :)

  • i was a projectorist my self, so here is the explanation of what happend ta 7:37: it was propably during the trailers. that was the lans switching from 4:3 mode to wide screen mode (16:9). some trailers and movies are 4:3 and some are 16:9.

and if the film is 16:9 and its projected on the 4:3 lens and vice versa the image will look distorted.
