Venus a fine sight at daybreak against a wonderful songbird dawn chorus. Later, before breakfast, Venus spied and videoed in full daylight with my Meade ETX-70 as a 33% phase crescent.

  • now I saw the evening star, in 7:20 PM, u should make a another video, at the west plz :D

  • Thanks - I've yet to see Venus at dusk due to poor western horizons - most of my vids are from home;-)

  • cool :D

  • Glad you liked it - summer morns with birdsong seem so far away in midwinter;-0

  • @nytecam so venus comes to the sky every summer

  • Venus never strays more than ~45 deg from the sun so alternates as a morning or evening 'star' - it's currently hidden 'behind' the sun and will be an evening star this spring and summer as it moves out of the sun's glare.

  • Very nice!

  • Nice capture of Venus phase. The avian chorus is a beautiful complement too.

  • @nytecam No wonder I can see through Reno, Nevada " Like Reno911 " to see in the sky
