Who is Philip Wollen? (Find out more via http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philip_W...
"Philip was vice president of Citibank, specialising in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions.
At age 34, he was rated by Australian Business Magazine in their Top 40 Australian head-hunted executives. At age 40, he witnessed cruelty on such a colossal scale that it affected him profoundly. He decided to give away everything he owned with warm hands, and die broke. 'And so far, we are right on budget,' he jokes.
Today he devotes his life to children, animals, the environment, the terminally ill, the homeless and the arts. He supports over 500 humanitarian projects in over 40 countries with schools, orphanages, shelters, sanctuaries, clinics, and scholarships.
In 2005 he received the Order of Australia. In 2007 he was Australian of the Year, Victoria. The Australia Day Council said of him, 'Essentially a private man, Philip Wollen seeks no personal publicity but is not afraid to step into the limelight for a just cause.' "

I think your ethically farming just can't exist. It's an uthopia.
And also misses some important points:
1) Animals are not property (can't be selled)
2) We don't have the right to kill them.

Nobody ever said meat eating should banned BY LAW! Not once. So please STOP making these preposterous claims. The "pro" side of the debate won - and asserted that consumers should make the ethical, healthy, environmentally responsible decision to shun the product. . . the market would adjust swiftly and the food industry would be profitable, ethical, sustainable and healthy.

I have no problem with that. I don't agree with your reasons, but I do support that you stand up to put a stop to animal suffering. I also watched the vid in the link you gave. Looks pretty bad, but I've seen worse. I hope that these farms will be closed one day. But I hope to still be able to see farms, and healthy animals in the pastures in the future. If there were no meat industry, those beautiful sights might also become a thing of the past and i wouldn't want that to happen.

I would keep fighting for a vegan world as I think it's wrong not only to torture animals, but also the killing. I wouldn't seek to do it with legislation, but rather by convinsing (spelling?) them using information such as the video which this comment field is attach to. A vegan diet is simply better, both for animals and for humans and for the environment.

Let me ask you a question though. Is there a way, or could you imagine a way where it would be possible to farm animals for their meat in such a manner that you would agree with? Or would you simply work towards a world where everyone would be forced to become vegan by law? Just an honest question, i don't mean anything by it.
