Our harpist boasted she was the loudest harpist in our area, but still it was sometimes difficult to hear her. My favorite is the beginning of variant 3 in which it's the violin soloist and the harp and that's it.
yea, that's right - I'm playing the harp in this piece - needs to have more harp!

it's a BIG string orchestra though you have two harps, but still...bring the string orchestra one dynamic down, so harps can be heard.
*harps bring the colors in this piece of music.*
