Just wonderin' if you ever tried to use a attenuator on your amp? I have a similar set up just like yours:)

Sounds great man I own a twin and it loves pedals? And talking about clean, the twin is the cleanest, loudest, amp on the market. I bet yours breaks up after 5. My twin does get breakup just passed 4 which is suprising being most of them get very little breakup even past 7 or 8. I kinda rushed when I bought the twin. 45 watts breaks up nice. But you can't beat a twin for headroom. I use a direct drive and with the amp on 2 it sounds great. Warm, creamy crunch. Rock on!

I play southern rock and blues. I mainly use a silver face pro reverb, master model but keep the master maxed at ten and use the volume as volume. I also use a 72 Marshall 1987 50 watter. I just picked up one of these amps and I'm glad I did. I have many pedals and mainly use a Kingsly Jester. It doesn't sound good with the super. Of all pedals that sound best with this amp, is an Ibenez Bad Monkey...yes, the Bad Monkey. It's midrangey but turn up the bass and treble to level it out...Killer!!
