t is a really great thing to teach your child the American Sign Language (ASL) alphabet. Babies and children tend to pick it up faster because of the visual letters that go along with the verbal letters. During the one minute preview you will see a 17-month-old baby singing and trying to sign the alphabet. Watch her hands as she tries to sign the letters. You will also see the same girl at age two, learning how to sign her letters. Her letters are much clearer now. She is also able to identify written letters because of her early exposure to both the sound and 'feel' of the letters. We take language in as a sound on the left side of our brains and we take sign language in as an image on the right side of our brains. This gives the child two places to recall the one word or letter. That is why it is so great to teach your child the ASL alphabet!
Learn how to sign the American Sign Language (ASL) manual alphabet. In this lesson we will go through step-by-step instruction on how to sign each letter of the manual alphabet. I will give you easy memory hints to remember the letters. We will go through the alphabet slowly, together, in order for you to have the maximum amount of practice signing each letter. You will learn the manual alphabet in a fast and easy way. I hope you enjoy the lesson!

Pretty cool! I have been wanting to learn, and now I know where to begin. Thank you!

Seems kinda pointless to do it with both left and right. They are the same signs regardless.
